South Dakota swept the final weekly softball honors for the 2009 season, and it was only fitting that one of the most dominating pitchers all season long picked up her 3rd award of the season, the Great West office announced today. Cortney Heim won three games for the Coyotes to earn the Pitcher of the Week honor for the third time in 2009, while teammate Michelle Jones earned Player of the Week after hitting .650 for the week as USD had a 5-1 mark.
