NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Texas-Pan American's Haley Hocott was named Great West Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for her performance at the Arkansas-Little Rock Women's Golf Classic this week, the conference office announced Thursday.

Hocott fired rounds of 78-79-72 for a three-round total of 229 at the Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs, Ark., which placed her in a tie for 29th place in the competitive field of 90. The junior improved 17 spots from day one with an even par 72 in round three.

Others nominated were Houston Baptist's Balbina Guajardo and Utah Valley's Erika Baldwin.
