NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Members of the Ameica Sky Men's Golf Conference have selected a bid from Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., as the location for the 2011 conference championship, commissioner Ed Grom announced today. The fourth America Sky Championship will be held May 2-4 and co-hosted by Weber State University and the University of Northern Colorado.

The America Sky heads to Arizona next spring with a new member as Seattle Univeristy has been approved as the 12th member of the America Sky Men's Golf Conference, effective with the upcoming 2010-11 season.

"This conference was formed to provide an opportunity for those NCAA Division I men's golf programs that were without conference affiliation an opportunity to compete and eventually earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Championship," said commissioner Ed Grom, "and Seattle is the last in the list of those institutions. We look forward to having Seattle join us for our 2011 championship."

Seattle joins Binghamton, Chicago State, Hartford, Houston Baptist, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State, South Dakota, Texas-Pan American, Utah Valley and Weber State as members of the America Sky.
