NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sacramento State's Ryan Williams leads the 2013 America Sky Men's Golf Conference All-Academic Team. The 52 honorees are the most in league history, and all 12 America Sky institutions are represented on this year's team.

Williams has been named the America Sky Scholar-Athlete for his outstanding season on the course and in the classroom. He was a first-team all-conference honoree and also represented the league with an at-large invitation to the NCAA Tournament. The film studies major holds a 3.51 grade point average.

"Time management is vital for student-athletes, and these 52 young men have proven they have found the right balance between academics and their sport," said America Sky Commissioner Ed Grom. "Each America Sky institution is well-represented on the team, and the athletes, their coaches and their administrations are to be commended."

To be eligible for the America Sky All-Academic Team student-athletes must post a grade point average of 3.2 or better during the academic year.
