NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Northern Colorado's Steve Bidne was named America Sky Conference Golfer of the Week for the week ending Feb. 24, 2010, the conference office announced on Thursday.

Bidne rallied after a first round of 77 with rounds of 71 and 72 en route to a ninth place finish for the junior at the Washington State Snowman Getaway Tournament in Chandler, Ariz. This was the highest finish of the spring for a Bear golfer and was Bidne's fourth top-10 finish this season, the first of the spring.

Noah Cook of Utah Valley was also nominated for this week's award.
