7/26/10 2011 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD AT TROON NORTHMembers of the Ameica Sky Men's Golf Conference have selected a bid from Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., as the location for the 2011 conference championship, commissioner Ed Grom announced today. 6/24/10 Binghamton's Jake Katz Leads America Sky Men's Golf All-Academic TeamBinghamton's Jake Katz, who was one of three golfers named America Sky Men's Golf Conference Golfer of the Year, has been named the league's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Katz, a junior Chemistry major from Williamsville, N.Y., set school records this year for lowest 18-hole score (6-under 66) and lowest single-season scoring average (73.6) in addition to exceptional work in the classroom. He leads a team of 28 members of the 2010 America Sky Academic All-Conference Team who each posted a grade point average of 3.2 or better during the 2009-10 academic year.MORE[+] |
