NAPERVILLE, IL - Cal Poly wide receiver Ramses Barden and UC Davis defensive lineman John Faletoese were the two Great West players named to the Walter Camp Football Championship Subdivision All-American team, the organization announced on December 11. The team was selected by the head coaches and sports information directors of the Football Championship Subdivision schools and certified by UHY Advisors, a New Haven-based accounting firm.

Barden, the 2008 Great West Offensive Player of the Year, and Terrell Hudgins (Elon) are the lone repeat Walter Camp FCS All-Americans. Barden caught 67 passes for 1,257 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Hudgins hauled in 86 passes for 1,116 yards and 13 scores. Faletoese, who was named Great West Defensive Player of the Year this season, had 40 tackles and 5.5 sacks his senior season while battling double and triple team blocking, and was credited with four blocked kicks.
