NAPERVILLE, IL - Cal Poly let a game get away but several players shined in the 36-35 overtime loss to Wisconsin of the Football Bowl Subdivision. Mustang cornerback Asa Jackson recorded five solo tackles, forced a fumble and broke up three passes to earn Great West Defensive Player of the Week. The Special Teams weekly honor went to Cal Poly return specialist Tre'dale Tolver, who returned a punt 40 yards for a touchdown to give the Mustangs a 13-0 lead at the time. Another player who played well in a losing effort was UC Davis quarterback, who passed for a career-high 434 yards and two touchdowns in the Aggies' 28-20 loss to San Diego.
