Nov. 22, 2006 Elmhurst, Ill. - North Dakota State won its first Great West Football Conference title after beating border rival South Dakota State 41-28 on Saturday night in front of 19,053 fans, the largest home crowd in Bison school history. The Bison, who became the first Great West team to go through the league schedule unbeaten, finished the season with a 10-1 record and are ranked No. 4 in the latest Football Championship Subdivision polls. The 2006 Great West All-Conference teams will be named on Tuesday, Nov. 29. We will dsitribute a more comprehensive release next week. Complete Release in PDF Format
