PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Nov. 5, 2006 Elmhurst, Ill. - North Dakota State proved why it has been climbing the national polls in its 28-24 comeback win over UC Davis. Strong safety Craig Dahl intercepted a pass late in the game and the timely play allowed quarterback Steve Walker to drive the Bison down the field for the winning score and complete the biggest comeback in school history. For their efforts Saturday, Dahl and Walker were named Great West Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, respectively, the league office announced today. Cal Poly's Nick Coromelas scored all of his team's points in a 10-9 loss to No. 2 Montana in Missoula and was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Complete Release in PDF Format
