GREAT WEST WEEKLY RELEASE
Oct. 31, 2006 Elmhurst, Ill. - Cal Poly bounced back from a shocking defeat at the hands of South Dakota State with a come-from-behind win of its own Saturday against I-A San Diego State. There will be little time for celebrating, however, as the Mustangs head out on the road to face No. 2 Montana Saturday in a rematch of a 2005 first-round NCAA playoff game. "We are very pleased to beat San Diego State and it is a I-A win for our program, but our two schools played each other over the years and our players know a lot of their players," said Cal Poly coach Rich Ellerson. "The win gives Cal Poly and the Great West more notoriety, but there's another big game ahead of us, like we have every week." Complete Release in PDF Format
