Jordan Swarbrick scored a career-high 30-points on his way to Player of the Week honors

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Utah Valley University's Jordan Swarbrick scored 30 points on his way to Great West Conference Player of the Week honors. The award was announced Monday by the conference office.

Swarbrick, a senior from El Dorado, Calif., hit on 13-19 (.684) from the field, including 4-5 (.800) from three-point range, in an 82-74 loss to San Jose State. In addition to his outstanding scoring exhibition, he also registered four rebounds, three assists, five steals, one block and committed zero turnovers. His points, steals and 68.4 shooting percentage were career highs for the 6-6 guard.

Others nominated for the honor were Marquis Young (Chicago State), Andrew Gonzalez (Houston Baptist), Travis Mertens (North Dakota), Jordan Boots (South Dakota) and Jared Maree (UTPA).
