The pairings are set for the inaugural Great West Conference Basketball Tournament to be held March 10-13, 2010, at Orem, Utah.

The seedings came down to the final games of the season and next week's tournament should prove to have the same excitement as all of the GWC teams enter the tournament with hopes of success.

On the men's side, South Dakota wrapped up the GWC championship Saturday night with a win over HBU at the DakotaDome. USD enters the tournament as the top seed and will receive a bye into the semifinals where it will then face the winner of No. 4 seed Utah Valley and No. 5 seed Texas-Pan American.

In the other side of the bracket, No. 2 seed Houston Baptist will face seventh-seeded Chicago State, while third-seeded North Dakota will play No. 6 seed NJIT.

The women's top seed is GWC Champion North Dakota, which will receive a first-round bye before facing the winner of No. 4 seed South Dakota and fifth-seeded NJIT.

Second-seeded Texas-Pan American will play No. 7 seed HBU, and No. 3 seed Chicago State will face off against sixth-seeded Utah Valley in the other side of the women's bracket.

The men's tournament will begin on Wednesday and the women will play their first-round games on Thursday.  Semifinals for both men and women will take place on Friday with champions crowned on Saturday.
