Cliff Martin is in his fourth year as a staff member with the Great West Conference. Martin graduated from Hardin-Simmons in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Fitness. After interning in the athletic media relations department during his senior year at HSU, he then went to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., to be a media relations assistant in the athletic department. Cliff was promoted to Assistant Director of Media Relations in 2007. At ORU, the Irving, Texas, native worked primarily with baseball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis and also helped out extensively with men's and women's basketball media efforts. He made three trips to the NCAA Tournament as the media coordinator for women's basketball in 2007 and with baseball in 2007 and 2008. Cliff is now a full-time personal trainer in Dallas, Texas, where he resides. |
