BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Daren Wilkinson, the wide recevier coach and passing game coordinator at Fayetteville State the past three seasons, has joined the Jackrabbit staff as offensive coordinator, replacing Eric Eidsness, who is now head coach at Southwest Minnesota.

Wilkinson was the starting quarterback on the Colorado State team which won the WAC championship and played in the Holiday Bowl in 1995.

He earned a bachelor's degree at CSU in 1997 and added a master's degree, also from CSU, in 1999.

Kris Roberts, head coach at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, is the new defensive line coach. He replaced Tim Steinbach, who is now defensive coordinator at Southwest Minnesota.

Roberts attended Colorado State University, earning a bachelor's degree in 2001 and master's degree in 2003.

While pursuing his master's degree, Roberts was a graduate assistant defensive coach on the football staff.
